Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CARM1, or Coactivator-Associated Arginine Methyltransferase 1, is a notable protein involved in epigenetic regulation and gene expression, particularly in the context of transcriptional activation. Its primary function is to catalyze the methylation of arginine residues on specific histones and non-histone proteins, thereby influencing chromatin structure and the recruitment of various transcriptional coactivators. Research has shown that CARM1 plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as differentiation, development, and cellular response to stress. Dysregulation of CARM1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have focused on understanding the structural properties of CARM1 and its interactions with other proteins, which is essential for elucidating its function in complex cellular pathways. The recombinant expression of CARM1 allows researchers to study its enzymatic activities and interactions in vitro, providing insight into its potential as a biomarker or a drug target. Overall, the study of CARM1 is vital for advancing our knowledge of epigenetic mechanisms and identifying new strategies for disease treatment.
