Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RFX5 (Regulatory Factor X6) is a member of the RFX family of transcription factors that plays a crucial role in the regulation of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II genes. Its primary function is to bind to the X-box, a conserved DNA sequence found in the promoter region of MHC class II genes, thereby facilitating the expression of these genes, which are essential for immune response and antigen presentation. Dysregulation of RFX5 has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases and immunological disorders. Given its significance, researchers are increasingly focused on studying RFX5 through recombinant protein technology. The generation of RFX5 recombinant proteins allows for the detailed examination of its molecular mechanisms of action, interactions with other transcription factors, and its role in the immune system. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of RFX5 can provide insights into the development of novel therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with immune dysregulation. Recent advances in protein engineering and purification techniques have made it feasible to produce functional RFX5 proteins in sufficient quantities for in vitro and in vivo studies. This research is pivotal not only for elucidating the basic biology of RFX5 but also for exploring potential clinical applications that could enhance immune responses or provide targeted therapies for autoimmune disorders.
