Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAND1 (CAND1-Associated Protein) is a key regulator of the Cullin-RING ligase (CRL) family of ubiquitin ligases, which play a crucial role in protein degradation and various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, development, and response to stress. The involvement of CAND1 in the assembly and stability of CRL complexes highlights its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research has demonstrated that CAND1 acts as a scaffold protein, preventing the premature assembly of CRLs and ensuring that substrate recognition occurs correctly. This regulatory mechanism has significant implications for understanding the pathogenesis of various diseases, particularly cancers, where dysfunctional ubiquitination processes are often observed. Furthermore, CAND1's interaction with different CRL components reveals potential therapeutic targets for modulating protein degradation pathways in disease contexts. Current studies focus on the structural characterization of CAND1, its binding mechanisms, and how post-translational modifications influence its function. By elucidating the role of CAND1 in CRL dynamics, researchers aim to uncover novel insights into its contribution to cellular regulation and its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions. Overall, the exploration of CAND1 not only enhances our understanding of ubiquitin-proteasome pathways but also offers opportunities for innovative strategies in drug discovery and disease treatment.
