Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAMKK1 (Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of energy metabolism and stress response. It acts as an upstream regulator of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), a key sensor of cellular energy status. Dysregulation of CAMKK1 has been implicated in various diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and certain types of cancer, making it an important target for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant CAMKK1 protein is essential for understanding its biochemical properties, including enzyme kinetics, interaction with substrates, and its role in cellular signaling cascades. By producing and characterizing CAMKK1 in a recombinant form, researchers aim to elucidate its functional mechanisms and explore possible applications in drug development. The development of specific inhibitors or modulators of CAMKK1 could have significant implications for treating metabolic disorders and cancer, highlighting the importance of this protein in both basic research and applied biomedical science.
