稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) is a essential protein that plays a crucial role in DNA replication and repair processes in eukaryotic cells. Functioning primarily as a processivity factor for DNA polymerases, PCNA forms a sliding clamp around the DNA strand, enhancing the polymerase's ability to synthesize DNA with high fidelity and speed. Beyond its role in replication, PCNA is also involved in various cellular processes such as DNA damage response, chromatin remodeling, and regulation of cell cycle progression. Research on recombinant PCNA has gained significant attention due to its implications in cancer biology, where altered PCM expression and activity can lead to genomic instability and tumor progression. Producing recombinant PCNA in suitable expression systems allows for detailed structural and functional analyses, enabling scientists to elucidate its interactions with other proteins, such as DNA polymerases and repair factors. This research provides insights into the mechanisms of DNA replication and repair, potentially identifying new therapeutic targets for diseases associated with DNA damage and repair deficiencies. As studies continue to reveal the multifaceted roles of PCNA, the recombinant form of this protein serves as a valuable tool in understanding its contributions to cellular homeostasis and the implications for tumorigenesis.
