Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CALCOCO1, also known as calcium binding protein of 1, is a critical protein involved in various cellular processes, including inflammation, immune response, and autophagy. Its ability to interact with various signaling pathways has made it a focal point of research, particularly in understanding the underlying mechanisms of diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. Recent studies have indicated that CALCOCO1 plays a role in the regulation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, which is pivotal in the inflammatory response. Furthermore, its interaction with other proteins suggests a potential role in the autophagic pathway, which is essential for cellular homeostasis and the removal of damaged organelles. Given its multifaceted functions, researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing CALCOCO1 and developing recombinant forms of the protein to investigate its structural properties and functional roles in cellular contexts. The ability to produce CALCOCO1 as a recombinant protein opens avenues for detailed biochemical and biophysical studies, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in human health and disease. Understanding CALCOCO1's mechanisms could lead to novel therapeutic strategies targeting inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, positioning it as a promising candidate for further investigation in the biomedical field.
