Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the eaeA gene, which encodes a key protein involved in the pathogenesis of enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC), is crucial for understanding bacterial-host interactions. EPEC is a significant cause of diarrhea, particularly in children in developing countries, and its pathogenicity is largely attributed to the effector protein Eae (intimin). This protein mediates the adherence of EPEC to host intestinal epithelial cells, leading to the formation of attaching and effacing (A/E) lesions that disrupt normal cellular functions. Research on recombinant EaeA protein aims to elucidate its molecular mechanisms, interactions with host cell receptors, and its role in disease progression. Moreover, understanding the structure-function relationship of EaeA can aid in the development of potential therapeutic strategies or vaccines to combat EPEC infections. The production of eaeA recombinant protein in various expression systems facilitates the study of its immunogenic properties and the exploration of its potential as a vaccine candidate. Additionally, the knowledge gained from eaeA research contributes to broader insights into pathogenic mechanisms used by other enteric pathogens, enhancing our overall understanding of gastrointestinal diseases.
