Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COLEC10, or Collectin-10, is a member of the collectin family of proteins, which play crucial roles in the innate immune system by recognizing and binding various pathogens. The study of COLEC10 has gained significance due to its involvement in modulating immune responses, particularly in the clearance of microbes and the regulation of inflammation. Research has shown that COLEC10 exhibits specific binding affinity to carbohydrates found on pathogens, thereby facilitating opsonization and promoting phagocytosis by immune cells. The recombinant production of COLEC10 is of great interest for therapeutic applications, as it may enhance immune recognition and response in infectious diseases or even autoimmune disorders. Additionally, understanding COLEC10's structure-function relationship provides insights into its mechanisms of action and potential utility in vaccine development. Given the rising prevalence of infectious diseases and the need for novel immunotherapies, COLEC10 represents a promising avenue for research that may lead to innovative strategies in enhancing host defense mechanisms.
