  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

REM1 (Receptor for Advanced Glycation End-products Membrane-bound Protein 1) is a protein that has garnered significant interest in the field of cellular biology due to its role in various physiological and pathological processes. Originally identified for its involvement in inflammatory responses, REM1 is implicated in the regulation of immune cell functions and has been linked to the development of autoimmune diseases and certain cancer types. Research has shown that REM1 may play a critical role in modulating the signaling pathways associated with receptor activation, thereby influencing cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. Its membrane-bound nature suggests potential interactions with other surface receptors, making it a key player in intercellular communications. Studies focusing on REM1's structure and function have led to the exploration of its potential as a therapeutic target, particularly in conditions where regulation of inflammation and immune responses is crucial. Understanding the biochemical pathways involving REM1 and its recombinant forms has opened avenues for developing new strategies in drug design and immunotherapy. Consequently, the ongoing research into REM1 recombinants not only aims to elucidate their functional mechanisms but also to harness their properties for clinical applications, thereby addressing unmet medical needs in various diseases.
