Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GKN1 (Gastric Kappa Light Chain Protein 1) is a protein that has garnered interest in the fields of gastrointestinal research and oncology due to its potential role in gastric mucosal protection and cancer development. It is primarily expressed in the gastric epithelium and is believed to play a critical role in maintaining gastric mucosal integrity by modulating inflammatory responses and promoting cell survival. Recent studies have suggested that downregulation of GKN1 is associated with gastric cancer progression, making it a candidate for both diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The recombinant expression of GKN1 has been explored to better understand its structure, function, and interactions with other cellular pathways. By producing GKN1 in a recombinant form, researchers aim to investigate its biochemical properties and elucidate its role in gastric pathology. This background sets the stage for the potential use of GKN1 as a biomarker for early detection of gastric disorders and as a target for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at preventing or treating gastric cancer, thereby emphasizing the need for further research into its mechanistic pathways and clinical relevance.
