Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C9orf96, also known as chromosomal 9 open reading frame 96, is a gene encoding a protein that has garnered interest in the field of molecular biology due to its potential implications in neurological disorders and cancer. Initial studies have suggested that its expression is linked to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly in the context of motor neuron diseases. Researchers hypothesize that the protein may play a role in cellular processes such as neuroinflammation and apoptosis, which are critical in the pathogenesis of these conditions. Additionally, C9orf96 has been investigated for its interactions with other proteins that are involved in cellular signaling pathways, further emphasizing its relevance in both health and disease. The production and characterization of recombinant C9orf96 protein allow scientists to study its structure and function in detail, facilitating the identification of its role in various biological processes. Such studies are expected to provide insights into the mechanisms of disease and open potential avenues for therapeutic interventions. By employing recombinant technology, researchers aim to elucidate the functional properties of C9orf96, which may lead to significant advancements in understanding its contributions to neurological health and its potential as a biomolecular target in therapeutic strategies.
