Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RCK (Regulator of Chromosome Condensation) proteins are a family of eukaryotic proteins that play a critical role in the regulation of chromosome dynamics during cell division. Initially identified in organisms such as yeast, RCK proteins have been found to be essential for proper chromosomal organization and segregation. Research into RCK proteins has revealed their involvement in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, chromatin remodeling, and the response to cellular stress. The study of RCK proteins is particularly significant in the context of cancer biology, as dysregulation of chromosome stability is a hallmark of many types of cancer. By understanding the structural and functional aspects of RCK proteins, researchers aim to elucidate their contributions to genome integrity and potential implications for therapeutic interventions. Additionally, recombinant protein technology has allowed for the production of RCK proteins in vitro, facilitating detailed biochemical and structural studies that can reveal their mechanisms of action and interactions with other cellular components. This research is pivotal not only for fundamental biology but also for the development of targeted therapies that may improve cancer treatment outcomes by restoring proper chromosomal function.
