Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RASAL1, a member of the RAS GTPase-activating protein family, has garnered significant attention in cancer research due to its role in regulating RAS signaling pathways. RAS proteins are critical mediators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, with mutations in RAS genes being prevalent in various cancers, particularly pancreatic, colorectal, and lung cancers. The RASAL1 protein functions by promoting the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP on RAS proteins, thereby inactivating them and playing a crucial role in negative signal regulation. Recent studies have revealed that RASAL1 acts as a tumor suppressor, and its downregulation or loss of expression is often associated with tumorigenesis. Moreover, RASAL1's involvement in cellular processes such as apoptosis, migration, and invasion highlights its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governing RASAL1's activity and its interactions with other signaling molecules could provide novel insights into cancer biology and the development of targeted therapies. Therefore, recombinant RASAL1 protein studies not only elucidate its functional properties but also pave the way for exploring its role in cancer treatment strategies.
