  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RASA3 (Ras protein activator 3) is a member of the RAS superfamily of proteins, which play crucial roles in cell signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Research into RASA3 has gained attention due to its potential implications in cancer biology and neurodevelopmental disorders, as it functions as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) that modulates the activity of Ras proteins, thereby influencing critical signaling cascades. Understanding the mechanisms of RASA3 and its interactions within cellular contexts can provide insights into therapeutic targets for diseases characterized by aberrant Ras signaling. Additionally, the generation of RASA3 recombinant proteins allows for detailed biochemical and structural studies, facilitating the exploration of its functional role and regulatory mechanisms in various biological processes. By employing advanced technologies such as protein engineering and crystallography, researchers aim to delineate the precise molecular functions of RASA3, ultimately contributing to the development of innovative strategies for intervening in Ras-related pathologies.
