Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RAD51L3, a member of the RAD51 family of proteins, plays a crucial role in homologous recombination, a key process for DNA repair and maintenance of genomic stability. The protein is involved in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks and the restart of stalled replication forks, thus preventing genomic instability that can lead to various diseases, including cancer. Research has shown that RAD51L3 interacts with other proteins involved in the DNA damage response, enhancing its function in the homologous recombination pathway. Furthermore, mutations or dysregulation of RAD51L3 have been associated with increased susceptibility to certain cancers, making it a potential biomarker for cancer risk and a target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the specific mechanisms by which RAD51L3 operates in DNA repair not only sheds light on fundamental cellular processes but also contributes to the development of novel strategies for cancer treatment and prevention. Additionally, studies on RAD51L3 may reveal new insights into the evolution of DNA repair mechanisms across different organisms, highlighting its importance in maintaining genetic integrity.
