  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Chl1, or Chromosome-Like Protein 1, has emerged as a significant focus in molecular biology due to its essential role in various cellular processes, including chromosome segregation, DNA repair, and regulation of gene expression. The study of Chl1 recombinant proteins aims to unravel its structural and functional properties, which are crucial for understanding its mechanism in chromosomal dynamics and cellular stability. Research has shown that Chl1 is implicated in various biological functions, such as maintaining genome integrity and facilitating proper chromosome alignment during mitosis. Given its involvement in the cell cycle, mutations or dysregulation of Chl1 can lead to genomic instability and has been linked to several diseases, including cancer. The production of Chl1 as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biophysical characterization, as well as exploration of potential therapeutic applications. By utilizing advanced techniques in protein engineering and purification, scientists are able to study the interaction of Chl1 with other cellular components and its role in chromatin remodeling. This knowledge can pave the way for novel strategies in cancer treatment and provide insights into the fundamental mechanisms of cell biology. The ongoing research on Chl1 recombinant protein continues to deepen our understanding of its biological significance and potential applications in medical science.
