Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100A14 is a member of the S100 protein family, characterized by its EF-hand motif, which is known for binding calcium and regulating various cellular processes. Research has shown that S100A14 plays a significant role in many physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer progression, inflammation, and cell differentiation. It is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues, and its expression levels have been associated with tumor suppression and metastasis in various cancers, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in modulating immune responses and influencing cellular signaling pathways. The recombinant expression of S100A14 protein allows for in-depth functional studies, enabling researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and interaction with other proteins. These insights could contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and enhance our understanding of S100A14's role in disease mechanisms. Consequently, understanding the structure and function of recombinant S100A14 is essential for elucidating its biological significance and exploring its potential applications in clinical settings.
