Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C19orf2, also known as SIRT6, is a gene located on chromosome 19 that encodes a protein with NAD+-dependent deacetylase activity, playing a crucial role in cellular processes such as DNA repair, metabolism, and aging. Research on C19orf2 has gained significant traction due to its involvement in various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. Recent studies indicate that this protein participates in the regulation of gene expression and maintains genomic stability, thereby influencing cellular stress responses and longevity. The recombinant version of C19orf2 is often utilized in laboratory settings to better understand its biological functions and interactions at the molecular level. By expressing and purifying the recombinant protein, researchers can conduct structural and functional assays to explore its enzymatic activity and potential as a therapeutic target. This line of inquiry is paramount, as understanding the precise role of C19orf2 in pathological conditions could lead to novel interventions for age-related diseases and metabolic syndromes. Moreover, studying its mechanisms of action may provide insights into the broader implications of NAD+-dependent processes in human health. Thus, C19orf2 recombinant protein serves as a pivotal tool in elucidating the molecular underpinnings associated with this gene and its encoded protein.
