  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DPP10 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase 10) is a member of the dipeptidyl peptidase family, playing a crucial role in the regulation of various biological processes, including angiotensin metabolism and peptide hormone activation. It serves as a crucial modulator of the activity of other peptidases, particularly in the context of the immune system and neuronal signaling. Research has demonstrated that DPP10 interacts with DPP4 and DPP8, impacting their enzymatic functions, and it has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including metabolic disorders and certain cancers. Additionally, DPP10 influences the function of ion channels, particularly in the context of neuronal excitability and cardiac function. Given its multifaceted roles, recombinant DPP10 protein has become a focal point of research, allowing scientists to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions. This knowledge may contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies targeting DPP10 in diseases associated with dysregulated peptide metabolism and neuropsychiatric disorders. Investigating the structure-function relationship of DPP10 through recombinant protein studies is essential for understanding its role in health and disease, offering insights into potential biomarker development and therapeutic applications.
