Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRPF40A, or Pre-mRNA Processing Factor 40A, is an essential component of the spliceosome, a complex responsible for the precise removal of introns from pre-mRNA. This protein has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its critical role in RNA splicing and gene regulation, processes that are fundamental to cellular function and development. Abnormalities in splicing mechanisms have been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the importance of PRPF40A in maintaining cellular homeostasis and the integrity of gene expression. The study of recombinant PRPF40A protein allows researchers to investigate its structure, function, and interactions with other spliceosomal components. By producing this protein in vitro, scientists can employ various biochemical and biophysical techniques to dissect its role in splicing and uncover potential regulatory pathways it may modulate. Additionally, understanding PRPF40A's contribution to splicing may open avenues for therapeutic interventions in splicing-related diseases, making it a protein of significant biomedical interest. Through these investigations, the broader implications of PRPF40A in cellular processes and its potential as a therapeutic target continue to unfold, reinforcing the need for ongoing research in this domain.
