Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRMT7, or Protein Arginine Methyltransferase 7, is a member of the protein arginine methyltransferase family, which play critical roles in the post-translational modification of proteins through the methylation of arginine residues. This modification is essential for various cellular processes, including gene expression, signal transduction, and RNA metabolism. Recent studies have highlighted PRMT7's involvement in crucial biological pathways, particularly in the regulation of immune responses and cell proliferation. It has been linked to cancer progression, where its overexpression may contribute to tumorigenesis by altering the epigenetic landscape of cancer cells. The investigation of recombinant PRMT7 protein is pivotal, as it allows for a detailed understanding of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and biological functions. By studying the structure and function of PRMT7, researchers aim to elucidate its role in disease mechanisms and to identify potential therapeutic targets. The generation of recombinant proteins also facilitates the exploration of small-molecule inhibitors that could modulate PRMT7 activity, thereby providing insights into novel cancer treatment strategies and therapeutic interventions. Overall, the research surrounding PRMT7 recombinant proteins is crucial for advancing our understanding of arginine methylation and its implications in health and disease.
