Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NTF4 (Neurotrophic factor 4) is a member of the neurotrophic factor family known to play a crucial role in neuronal survival, differentiation, and growth, particularly in the development and maintenance of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Research on NTF4 has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in neurodegenerative diseases and conditions related to peripheral nerve injuries. Its mechanism of action involves binding to specific receptors, such as the TrkB receptor, which activates intracellular signaling pathways that promote neuronal health. Recombinant NTF4 protein has been engineered to study its effects on neuronal cells in vitro and in vivo, facilitating a deeper understanding of its biological functions and therapeutic potential. The study of recombinant NTF4 not only helps elucidate its role in neurobiology but also paves the way for developing targeted treatments for various neurological disorders, including Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. As research progresses, the characterization and application of NTF4 recombinant protein could lead to innovative strategies for enhancing neuronal repair and regeneration, marking a significant advancement in regenerative medicine.
