Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KITLG, also known as Kit ligand or Stem Cell Factor (SCF), plays a critical role in the development and maintenance of various cell types, including hematopoietic stem cells, melanocytes, and germ cells. The study of KITLG and its recombinant proteins has garnered attention due to its involvement in multiple biological processes such as cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Its signaling pathway, primarily through the KIT receptor, is crucial for the regulation of stem cell behavior and has implications in conditions like cancer and genetic disorders. Recombinant KITLG has been explored for therapeutic applications, particularly in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy, where it can enhance the survival and differentiation of stem cells in vitro and in vivo. Understanding the structure-function relationships of KITLG, as well as its interaction with the KIT receptor, is essential for designing effective therapeutic strategies. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and characterization of KITLG, leading to insights into its biological mechanisms and potential clinical applications. This ongoing research is pivotal for harnessing the full potential of KITLG in both basic science and therapeutic interventions.
