Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Kif1c is a member of the kinesin superfamily of motor proteins, playing a crucial role in intracellular transport. It is primarily involved in the anterograde transport of organelles and vesicles along microtubules, essential for maintaining cellular functions and homeostasis. Research on Kif1c has gained momentum due to its implications in various physiological and pathological processes, including neuronal development, synaptic function, and the progression of neurodegenerative diseases. Abnormalities in Kif1c function have been linked to impaired transport mechanisms, which can contribute to cognitive deficits and cellular dysfunction. The reconstitution of Kif1c in a laboratory setting allows for the investigation of its mechanistic roles and interactions with cargoes and microtubules. This research not only enhances our understanding of motor protein dynamics but also holds potential for therapeutic interventions in neurodegenerative conditions by targeting transport pathways. Given the complexity of cellular transport systems, elucidating the function of Kif1c is integral to the broader understanding of cellular organization and neurobiology.
