稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cytochrome b5 type B (CYB5B) is an essential membrane-bound heme protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including electron transfer and lipid metabolism. It is primarily expressed in the endoplasmic reticulum and is involved in the desaturation and elongation of fatty acids, as well as in the metabolism of drugs and xenobiotics. Research into CYB5B has gained traction due to its implications in cellular respiration and its potential contributions to metabolic disorders. Mutations in the CYB5B gene are associated with specific diseases, including congenital methemoglobinemia, highlighting its importance in maintaining proper cellular function. Recombinant CYB5B protein production has enabled researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and role in metabolic pathways more thoroughly. The characterization of this protein can provide critical insights into its function and regulation, potentially unveiling new therapeutic targets for disorders linked to its dysfunction. Furthermore, understanding CYB5B's mechanism of action could lead to advancements in biotechnology and the development of novel drug delivery systems. Overall, the study of CYB5B and its recombinant protein form is significant for elucidating fundamental biological functions and addressing various clinical challenges.
