Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP) is a critical regulatory protein that plays significant roles in various physiological processes, including bone development, calcium homeostasis, and cellular proliferation. Originally identified for its role in malignancies leading to hypercalcemia, PTHrP has garnered attention due to its expression in a wide array of normal tissues and involvement in physiological functions, such as placental development and fetal growth. The recombinant production of PTHrP has made it a valuable tool in research, allowing for in-depth studies of its mechanisms of action and potential therapeutic applications. Its diverse roles in tissue development and repair have sparked interest in exploring its use in regenerative medicine and treatment of metabolic bone diseases. Furthermore, understanding the signaling pathways activated by PTHrP is crucial for leveraging its therapeutic potential, especially in conditions characterized by bone loss and disorders related to calcium metabolism. As such, the ongoing investigation into PTHrP recombinant protein continues to unveil its multifaceted biological roles and therapeutic promise.
