Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Transforming growth factor-beta 2 (TGF-β2) is a pivotal cytokine involved in numerous biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and immune regulation. It belongs to the TGF-β superfamily, which plays critical roles in embryogenesis, tissue homeostasis, and repair mechanisms. Dysregulation of TGF-β2 signaling is linked to various pathophysiological conditions, including cancer, fibrosis, and autoimmune diseases. Due to its essential functions, TGF-β2 is a subject of extensive research, particularly in the context of therapeutic applications. The development of recombinant TGF-β2 proteins has enabled scientists to study its role in cellular processes more precisely and explore potential treatments targeting TGF-β2 pathways. By employing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce biologically active TGF-β2 in large quantities, facilitating in vitro and in vivo experiments. These studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying TGF-β2's effects and investigate its potential as a therapeutic agent in modulating immune responses and tissue regeneration. Additionally, understanding TGF-β2's interactions with its receptors and downstream signaling pathways can provide insights into novel strategies for combating diseases associated with TGF-β2 dysregulation. Thus, the research on recombinant TGF-β2 proteins is crucial for advancing our knowledge of its biological roles and therapeutic possibilities in various medical fields.
