Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HMGN4, a member of the high mobility group nucleosome-binding protein family, has gained attention due to its significant role in chromatin architecture and gene expression regulation. These proteins are known to influence various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, by modulating the structure of chromatin and the accessibility of DNA to transcription factors. Research has shown that HMGN4 specifically binds to nucleosomes, which can alter the DNA's physical properties and affect transcriptional activity. Emerging studies suggest that HMGN4 may be involved in the regulation of specific genes linked to cancer and developmental disorders, making it a molecule of interest in therapeutic research. The recombinant production of HMGN4 protein is essential for studying its structural and functional properties, and for exploring its potential as a biomarker or target in disease treatment. Investigating HMGN4 through recombinant techniques could elucidate its mechanistic pathways and interactions at the molecular level, furthering our understanding of chromatin dynamics and its implications in health and disease.
