Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKG1, or Protein Kinase cGMP-Dependent 1, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including vascular smooth muscle relaxation, platelet function, and neuronal signaling. The PRKG1 pathway is directly activated by cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which is produced in response to nitric oxide (NO) signaling. Given its importance in the cardiovascular system, dysregulation of PRKG1 has been linked to several pathological conditions, including hypertension, heart failure, and erectile dysfunction. Research on recombinant PRKG1 proteins has gained momentum as scientists seek to better understand its structural biology and functional mechanisms. By producing and characterizing PRKG1 through recombinant DNA technology, researchers can elucidate the regulatory mechanisms governing its activity and how various post-translational modifications impact its function. Furthermore, recombinant PRKG1 can serve as a valuable tool for drug discovery and the development of therapeutic strategies targeting related diseases. Advances in structural biology techniques, such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, offer further insights into PRKG1's conformational dynamics and interaction with its substrates. Investigating PRKG1 not only opens up avenues for understanding basic cellular signaling pathways but also holds potential for novel therapeutic interventions in cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, making it a focal point of contemporary biomedical research.
