Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The NT3 (Neurturin-3) recombinant protein is a neurotrophic factor that plays a critical role in promoting the survival, growth, and differentiation of neurons in the nervous system. Its significance has gained attention in the context of neurodegenerative diseases and peripheral nerve injuries, where the loss of neuronal support can lead to debilitating conditions. Research into NT3 has revealed its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in enhancing nerve regeneration and repairing damaged tissues. The recombinant production of NT3 has facilitated advanced studies into its functional mechanisms and interaction with various neuronal pathways. Scientists are particularly interested in its ability to activate specific receptor families and downstream signaling cascades that can promote neuronal health. As an area of growing interest, NT3 research aims to explore the protein's role in not only basic neurobiology but also in developing novel treatment strategies for conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic nerve injuries. Understanding the structure-function relationship of NT3, alongside its delivery mechanisms, is essential for maximizing its therapeutic efficacy and advancing clinical applications, making it a pivotal subject in regenerative medicine and neurobiology.
