Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEACAM8, or Carcinoembryonic Antigen-Related Cell Adhesion Molecule 8, is a member of the CEACAM family, which plays a significant role in immune responses and cell adhesion processes. Research into CEACAM8 has gained attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological conditions, particularly in the context of inflammatory diseases and certain types of cancer. CEACAM8 is primarily expressed on neutrophils and has been implicated in the regulation of neutrophil activation and migration, making it a potential biomarker for infections and inflammatory states. Furthermore, its interactions with other CEACAM family members and pathogens suggest a complex role in host defense mechanisms. The development of recombinant CEACAM8 provides a valuable tool for studying its functional properties, exploring its role in leukocyte biology, and evaluating its potential as a therapeutic target or diagnostic marker. Characterizing this protein can enhance our understanding of immune system dynamics and contribute to the advancement of targeted therapies for diseases where CEACAM8 is a key player. As such, recombinant CEACAM8 is vital for elucidating its biological roles and paving the way for innovative clinical applications.
