Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PKCe, or Protein Kinase C epsilon, is a member of the protein kinase C family, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell growth, and differentiation. Research on PKCe has gained significant attention due to its involvement in several physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. The unique regulatory mechanisms of PKCe, which react to both diacylglycerol and phosphatidylserine, highlight its importance in transducing signals in response to cellular stimuli. Furthermore, studies have shown that PKCe can exhibit distinct functions depending on its localization within the cell, making it a fascinating target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structural and functional properties of recombinant PKCe proteins has led to insights into their role in disease contexts and potential applications in drug development. The development of recombinant PKCe proteins facilitates detailed investigations into enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and interaction with other signaling molecules, thereby contributing to the elucidation of complex signaling pathways. This has significant implications in designing selective inhibitors or activators that could modulate PKCe activity, ultimately advancing the treatment strategies for related diseases. As such, research into PKCe and its recombinant forms is crucial for developing targeted therapies that leverage this kinase's unique biological functions.
