Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PKCζ (Protein Kinase C zeta) is a member of the Protein Kinase C (PKC) family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. PRKCZ, the gene encoding PKCζ, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its involvement in several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Abnormal regulation of PKCζ has been linked to tumorigenesis, where it may function as either a tumor promoter or suppressor, depending on the context. Research has demonstrated that PKCζ modulates signaling pathways such as the PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK pathways, which are critical for cellular responses to growth factors and stress. Furthermore, PKCζ's role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and its involvement in apoptotic signaling make it a targeted interest for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of PKCζ enables comprehensive functional studies and the development of potential inhibitors or activators that could modulate its activity. Understanding PRKCZ's precise mechanisms and interactions is vital for elucidating its role in health and disease, and to devise new strategies for clinical applications. As ongoing research continues to unravel the complexity of PKCζ signaling, it holds promise for advancing our knowledge of cellular regulation and potential treatments for various diseases.
