Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DLG4, also known as PSD-95, is a key scaffolding protein primarily found in neuronal synapses, playing a critical role in maintaining synaptic architecture and facilitating the clustering of receptors and ion channels. Research into DLG4 has gained significant traction due to its involvement in various neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, and intellectual disabilities. Understanding the functional dynamics of DLG4 requires the investigation of its recombinant forms, which can provide insights into its molecular interactions and post-translational modifications. The development of recombinant DLG4 proteins allows for in-depth studies of its structure-function relationships, interactions with other synaptic proteins, and the effects of specific mutations on its function. These studies are crucial for elucidating the mechanisms underlying synaptic transmission and plasticity, as well as the pathological consequences of DLG4 dysregulation. Moreover, recombinant DLG4 can serve as a valuable tool for drug development, allowing for the identification of therapeutic targets that can restore normal synaptic function in related disorders. As a result, the exploration of DLG4 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of basic neurobiology but also holds potential for advancing clinical applications in neuropsychiatric research.
