Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPAP2A, or Phosphatidylinositol-Phosphate Phosphatase Type 2A, is a crucial enzyme implicated in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways through the modulation of phosphoinositide levels. This protein plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis, by dephosphorylating specific phosphoinositides such as PIP2 and PIP3. Dysregulation of PPAP2A activity has been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders. As researchers explore potential therapeutic targets, the recombinant expression of PPAP2A has garnered attention for its utility in functional studies and drug development. Producing PPAP2A as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, enabling a better understanding of its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with other signaling molecules. By harnessing advances in protein engineering and expression systems, scientists aim to elucidate the precise roles of PPAP2A in health and disease, potentially leading to innovative approaches in treating conditions linked to its dysfunction. This research not only enhances fundamental knowledge of cellular signaling but also opens new avenues for therapeutic intervention in diseases where PPAP2A is a key player.
