Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALDH1A2, a member of the aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) enzyme family, is critical for the metabolism of retinoic acid, which plays a vital role in embryonic development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Research has shown that ALDH1A2 is involved in the regulation of retinoic acid levels, influencing various biological processes and signaling pathways crucial for developmental processes. Abnormal expression or mutation of ALDH1A2 has been associated with several developmental disorders and diseases, including congenital malformations and certain types of cancer. Given its significant role in retinoic acid biosynthesis, recombinant ALDH1A2 has garnered attention for potential applications in biomedical research, including studies focused on embryogenesis, cancer biology, and regenerative medicine. The ability to produce ALDH1A2 in recombinant systems allows for in-depth characterization of its biochemical properties and functional roles, facilitating the development of therapeutic strategies that target retinoic acid pathways. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of ALDH1A2 could lead to novel insights into its regulatory mechanisms and interactions with other biomolecules, ultimately enhancing our comprehension of its biological significance and therapeutic potential. This makes research on ALDH1A2 recombinant protein not only essential for basic science but also for potential clinical applications.
