Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of CFC1 (Cripto/FRL-1/Cryptic 1) recombinant protein is situated at the intersection of developmental biology and cancer research. CFC1 is a member of the EGF-CFC family of proteins, which play critical roles in embryonic development and cellular signaling pathways. It acts as a co-factor for transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily members, particularly in the activation of Nodal, a crucial factor in the formation of mesoderm and endoderm during early embryogenesis. Beyond its developmental roles, CFC1 has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may promote tumor growth and metastasis through its influence on cell signaling and tumor microenvironment. Recombinant CFC1 protein is essential for elucidating its molecular mechanisms and interactions, as well as for potential therapeutic applications. This protein can be utilized in functional assays, protein-protein interaction studies, and the development of targeted therapies. The ongoing research focuses on understanding how CFC1 interacts with other signaling molecules and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in cancers and developmental disorders, highlighting its significance in both basic science and clinical applications.
