Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BRDT (Bromodomain Testis-specific protein) is a protein that plays a significant role in spermatogenesis, specifically in the regulation of gene expression during sperm development. It contains bromodomains that recognize and bind acetylated lysine residues on histones, thus influencing chromatin structure and transcriptional activity. Research into BRDT has gained prominence due to its potential implications in male fertility and reproductive health, as well as its unique expression in the testis, making it a candidate for targeted therapies or contraceptives. Studies have shown that BRDT is essential for the proper progression of meiosis and spermatid differentiation, indicating that disruption of its function could lead to infertility. Additionally, BRDT has been linked to various forms of cancer when dysregulated, suggesting that understanding its mechanism could provide insights into tumorigenesis. As such, the investigation of BRDT as a therapeutic target could pave the way for innovative treatments for infertility and cancer, highlighting its importance in both reproductive biology and oncology. Overall, BRDT's specific functions and regulatory mechanisms in male germ cell development underscore the necessity for further exploration to harness its potential in clinical applications.
