Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAK1, or CDK-activating kinase 1, is a vital enzyme involved in the regulation of the cell cycle, specifically by activating cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) through phosphorylation. The proper functioning of CAK1 is crucial for cellular processes such as DNA replication, repair, and mitosis. Dysregulation of CDK activity has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, making CAK1 a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Research on CAK1 recombinant protein production has gained momentum in recent years, driven by the need to better understand its structure, function, and interactions at the molecular level. Recombinant CAK1 protein can be produced in heterologous expression systems, such as bacteria or yeast, allowing for the study of its biochemical properties and the development of inhibitors that can modulate its activity. Furthermore, the exploration of CAK1's role in signaling pathways provides insights into oncogenic mechanisms and potential strategies for cancer treatment. Overall, the study of CAK1 recombinant protein offers a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of cell cycle regulation and its implications in human health and disease.
