Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BOLA2B, a member of the BOLA (BolA-like) family of proteins, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in cellular processes such as metal ion homeostasis, protein maturation, and mitochondrial function. Its significance is highlighted by its involvement in several physiological and pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Recent studies suggest that BOLA2B may participate in the assembly of iron-sulfur clusters, which are critical for the function of various enzymes and mitochondrial proteins. Furthermore, the protein's expression patterns and regulation mechanisms are being explored to understand its contributions to cellular stress responses and developmental processes. Investigating BOLA2B's structure and function through recombinant protein production is crucial for elucidating its biological roles and potential therapeutic implications. This research aims to provide insights into how BOLA2B interacts with other cellular components and its impact on overall cellular health, thereby opening avenues for developing targeted treatments for diseases linked to its dysregulation.
