Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BICD1 (Bicellular Dendritic Cell-associated Protein 1) is a critical protein that plays a significant role in intracellular transport and the organization of cellular structures. It is primarily involved in the transport of organelles along microtubules, particularly in the context of neuronal and immune system functioning. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of BICD1 in various cellular processes, including exocytosis, receptor trafficking, and the maintenance of cell polarity. Aberrations in BICD1 expression or function have been implicated in several pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and immune disorders. Given its essential role in cellular dynamics, the recombinant expression of BICD1 has emerged as a focal point of research, enabling scientists to elucidate its structural and functional properties. By producing BICD1 through recombinant DNA technology, researchers can analyze the protein's interactions and mechanisms in greater detail, paving the way for potential therapeutic applications. Understanding BICD1's function at the molecular level could lead to novel insights into its involvement in disease processes, ultimately facilitating the development of targeted interventions to mitigate related health issues. As such, the study of BICD1 as a recombinant protein is not only crucial for advancing fundamental biological knowledge but also holds promise for translational research aiming to address significant clinical challenges.
