Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD160 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that plays a critical role in immune modulation, particularly in the context of natural killer (NK) cells and T cells. It serves as a co-stimulatory molecule that enhances the cytotoxic function of NK cells and influences cytokine production during immune responses. Research on CD160 has gained traction due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy, as enhancing its function may improve anti-tumor responses. Moreover, CD160’s ability to interact with various ligands and its expression patterns in different immune cell populations provide valuable insights into immune system regulation. The generation of recombinant CD160 proteins allows researchers to study its functional properties, binding affinities, and its role in cell signaling pathways more effectively. Such studies may help decipher the intricate mechanisms of immune modulation and lay the groundwork for innovative therapeutic strategies targeting CD160 in diseases characterized by dysregulated immune responses, such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
