Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PITX1 is a member of the Pitx family of transcription factors, which play crucial roles in embryonic development, organogenesis, and the regulation of various genes involved in the formation of tissues. This protein is predominantly expressed in the developing limbs and is regulated by pivotal signaling pathways during early development. Abnormal expression of PITX1 has been implicated in various congenital disorders and certain types of cancer, highlighting its importance in cellular processes. In particular, studies have shown that PITX1 is essential for the proper development of structures such as the hindlimb and pituitary gland. The recombinant expression of PITX1 provides a valuable tool for researchers to study its functional properties, interactions, and implications in developmental biology and disease. By producing PITX1 as a recombinant protein, researchers can delve deeper into its biochemical characteristics, assess its DNA-binding capability, and evaluate its influence on target gene transcription. This research not only aids in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying PITX1's role in development but also lays the groundwork for potential therapeutic approaches targeted at disorders associated with its dysfunction. Overall, the study of PITX1 as a recombinant protein is pivotal for elucidating its biology and broadening our comprehension of fundamental developmental processes and related pathologies.
