Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NRG1 (Neuregulin-1) is a critical signaling protein involved in various physiological processes, particularly in neurodevelopment and cardiovascular health. It belongs to a family of epidermal growth factor (EGF) domains and interacts with ErbB receptors, influencing cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Research has highlighted its role in the central nervous system, where NRG1 is essential for the development of neurons and glial cells, impacting synaptic plasticity and cognition. In the context of diseases, dysregulation of NRG1 signaling has been linked to various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, as well as heart diseases, where it plays a role in cardiac remodeling and repair mechanisms. The production of recombinant NRG1 protein is crucial for studying its functions and potential therapeutic applications. Recombinant technology allows for the generation of large quantities of biologically active NRG1, facilitating experiments that elucidate its molecular mechanisms and roles in disease states. Understanding the intricacies of NRG1 signaling pathways opens avenues for novel treatment strategies targeting both neurodegenerative and cardiovascular conditions, making it a significant focus in biomedical research. As such, NRG1 recombinant protein studies are pivotal for advancing our knowledge of its biological roles and for developing innovative therapeutic approaches.
