Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
YY1, or Yin Yang 1, is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. As a multifunctional protein, YY1 can act as both a transcriptional activator and repressor, depending on its interaction with other molecular partners and the context of gene expression. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in multiple signaling pathways and its implications in cancer progression and stem cell regulation. The reconstitution of YY1 protein is essential for understanding its intricate regulatory mechanisms and functions in normal and diseased states. By producing recombinant YY1 proteins, researchers can investigate the structure-function relationships of YY1, assess its binding interactions with DNA and other proteins, and elucidate its role in gene regulation. Additionally, the study of YY1 reassembled proteins can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets in diseases where YY1 activity is dysregulated, particularly in tumors, where aberrant YY1 levels are often linked to poor prognosis. Overall, research on YY1 and its reconstituted forms not only enhances our understanding of transcriptional regulation but also opens avenues for innovative therapeutic strategies in cancer and other YY1-related disorders.
