Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MUM1, or Multiple Myeloma 1, is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in various biological processes, including immune regulation and B-cell differentiation. Its expression has been closely associated with multiple myeloma, a type of cancer that arises from plasma cells in the bone marrow. The study of MUM1 recombinant proteins has gained significance in the context of understanding both its physiological functions and its implications in oncogenesis. Researchers have focused on characterizing MUM1's structural features and its interactions with other cellular proteins to elucidate its role in the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma and other hematological malignancies. By producing MUM1 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to facilitate the study of its biochemical properties, signaling pathways, and potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, MUM1's involvement in the differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells highlights its importance in adaptive immunity, making it a valuable candidate for exploring immune responses and potential interventions in autoimmune diseases as well. The ongoing research into MUM1 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of its mechanism of action but also offers insights into the development of novel therapeutic strategies for managing multiple myeloma and improving patient outcomes.
