  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

OTUD7B, a member of the otubain family of deubiquitinating enzymes, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its pivotal role in regulating protein homeostasis and cellular processes through the removal of ubiquitin moieties from target proteins. Ubiquitination is a critical post-translational modification that influences protein stability, localization, and function, impacting diverse biological pathways such as cell cycle, apoptosis, and DNA repair. Alterations in OTUD7B expression have been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, suggesting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Research has shown that OTUD7B can modulate key signaling pathways by selectively deubiquitinating substrates, thereby influencing cell proliferation and survival. Furthermore, its involvement in the maintenance of proteostasis highlights its significance in cellular responses to stress and its potential role in aging. As the understanding of OTUD7B’s functions deepens, it presents new opportunities for investigating its therapeutic applications, including the development of small molecules that can modulate its activity. Overall, the study of OTUD7B recombinant protein not only aids in elucidating the mechanisms of ubiquitin signaling pathways but also holds promise for advancing the field of targeted therapies in disease contexts where its dysregulation is evident.
