Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WRS (Wheat Germ Reconstituted Protein) is a plant-based protein derived from wheat germ, which has attracted significant interest in the field of biotechnology and nutrition due to its potential applications in food science and health supplementation. The increasing global demand for sustainable protein sources, coupled with growing concerns over the environmental impact of animal farming, has propelled research into alternative proteins derived from plants. WRS is particularly noteworthy as it offers a balanced amino acid profile, essential for human nutrition, while also being rich in vitamins and minerals. Researchers have dedicated efforts to optimize the extraction and purification processes of WRS, aiming to enhance its functionality and bioavailability. Additionally, studies are being conducted to explore its potential health benefits, including its role in improving muscle protein synthesis and supporting overall metabolic health. The versatility of WRS allows it to be incorporated into various food products, meeting the needs of vegetarians and those seeking healthier dietary options. Thus, the ongoing research into WRS not only addresses nutritional needs but also aligns with the global shift towards more sustainable food systems, promising to contribute significantly to the future landscape of dietary proteins.
