Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VCAM-1, or Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1, is a cell surface protein that plays a crucial role in the adhesion of white blood cells to the endothelium during inflammatory responses. Its expression is upregulated in various pathological conditions, including atherosclerosis, cancer, and autoimmune diseases, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Research on VCAM-1 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its biological functions and mechanisms of action, which could lead to the development of novel anti-inflammatory drugs. By producing VCAM-1 in a recombinant form, scientists can study its interactions with other cellular components and signaling pathways in detail. Additionally, the recombinant protein can be used in the design of diagnostic tools and therapeutic agents that inhibit VCAM-1's function, potentially reducing the inflammatory response in various diseases. The increasing interest in precision medicine underscores the importance of understanding VCAM-1's role in disease dynamics, paving the way for targeted therapies that could improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse effects associated with systemic immunosuppression. Through these studies, VCAM-1 is emerging as a promising biomarker and therapeutic target that could significantly impact medical research and treatment options.
