Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP2B1, also known as the plasma membrane calcium ATPase 1 (PMCA1), is a critical protein involved in calcium homeostasis within eukaryotic cells. It functions to extrude calcium ions from the cell, thereby regulating intracellular calcium levels, which are vital for various physiological processes such as muscle contraction, neurotransmitter release, and cell signaling. Dysregulation of ATP2B1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancer, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Research on the recombinant expression of ATP2B1 has gained momentum due to the demand for understanding its structural and functional properties, which can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms. By producing recombinant ATP2B1, researchers aim to study its enzymatic activity, elucidate its interactions with other cellular components, and explore its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the generation of purified ATP2B1 for in vitro studies, enabling detailed analyses of its biophysical and biochemical characteristics. Furthermore, the exploration of ATP2B1's post-translational modifications may reveal additional regulatory mechanisms that influence its activity and stability. Overall, the investigation of ATP2B1 recombinant protein not only enhances our understanding of calcium signaling pathways but also opens new avenues for developing strategies to modulate its activity in various pathological contexts.
